Her artwork has been exhibited nationwide and she has won numerous awards such as: Best of Show and Grumbacher Award at the 62nd National Art League Exhibition in New York City, & Kansas Artists Postcard Series (4 times). Many magazines have exhibited her work as well: Showcase column of Décor magazine, The Country Register (3 times), & KANSAS! The Official State Magazine.  Anna has been a member of the Kansas Watercolor Society, been interviewed by PBS, and has been invited to exhibit her work in such prestigious shows as the Mountain Oyster Club Western Art Show in Tucson, AZ.  Her work is in numerous private and public collections nationwide.


Anna Seeber Shaw was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma. From ages 2-5, she lived in Tripoli, Libya, where her father worked as a geologist. They came back to El Dorado, KS where she spent her youth, and Anna graduated from El Dorado High School. Shaw went on to attend Fort Hays State University, obtaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1978. She broadened her art base thourgh several other institutions inlcuding Western State College, Emporia State University, and Wichita State University.
